How It Works
Use freshly ground coffee, about 15 g (≈1 tablespoon) per 250ml water. Heat water to 92–96 °C (just off the boil). Add the hot water to the press, then stir well to ensure even extraction. Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes. Slowly press the plunger down with one finger, lifting slightly if there’s too much resistance. Pour immediately and enjoy — leaving it in the press too long can make it bitter.
